Joe Nadglowski is the President and CEO of the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), a national nonprofit organization based in Tampa, Florida.
Philosophy and Approach
With more than 25 years of experience in patient advocacy, public policy, and education, Nadglowski works to combat weight bias and improve access to treatment. He is a frequent speaker and author on obesity awareness and has served on several task forces and boards.
Awards and Programs
In 2012, Nadglowski was the recipient of the Society for the Study of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) Public Service Award. He has been a guest at the White House to discuss childhood obesity and has testified before the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the importance of increasing treatment options for individuals affected by obesity.
