Professional Background
Mark Bertin, MD, is a developmental pediatrician in Pleasantville, New York, and author of How Children Thrive, Mindful Parenting for ADHD, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Teen ADHD, and The Family ADHD Solution, which integrate mindfulness into evidence-based pediatric care. He is a frequent lecturer for parents, teachers, and professionals on topics related to child development, and he specializes in autism, ADHD, parenting, and mindfulness. Dr. Bertin also leads mindfulness classes and incorporates mindfulness into sessions on an individual basis for interested families.
He is an assistant professor of pediatrics at New York Medical College, and is on the faculty of the Windward Teacher Training Institute.
